Conti's: Turtle Pie

It was my mom's birthday when my dad just got home and he has some desserts and pastries on hand. It was Conti's Turtle Pie. Haven't tried it because we always order their Mango Bravo because of its over-whelming size and flavor. We haven't tried dining in to one of their restaurants because its always jammed packed, maybe some other time.

Conti's Turtle Pie (Php 575) was like a chocolate mousse because of its soft filling. We forgot to put it in the freezer so the whipped cream was already melting as well as the whole pie. It was really hard as rock when frozen but soft as  cream when left at room temperature. I really don't want to eat foods with nuts because I want to eat the nuts separately but walnuts used here are superb, which adds texture to its soft filling and hard chewy base.

I'm really starting to love Conti's! c",)
