Stick House, Italian Gelato on a stick!

While waiting for Darren Criss's photo op and autograph signing to be over. I saw these ice cream bars on display and was so tempting. My friend was already sour graping because he didn't have a chance to hear Darren Criss perform because he was too late and we were already hungry. I pointed him to the ice cream shelf I saw since ice cream was his comfort food when he is sad, stressed or disappointed. And I think I had a great piece of advice!

He agreed and was easily delighted by what he saw. It was called Stick House from its concept as an Italian gelato on a stick. The store was locally owned and was not from a  famous franchise from another country. A gelato was made with no air compared to ice cream making it rich in flavor and softer.

One of their best-seller was Pistachio but I want to try other flavors. The cheapest flavor was the sorbet that comes with mango, strawberry or mixed flavors.

My friend got this flavor, the Gianduia (Php 70). By just reading and seeing the flavor, he got curious on what it is. Gianduia was a sweet chocolate mixed with hazelnut butter and famously known as 'nutella'.

You could also have your own combination for your gelato, if you want it with nuts or just have it dipped in white or dark chocolate, either for the half of the gelato or full. Toppings to choose from were Pistachio, coffee, hazelnut and almonds.

He can't helped himself and got another flavor and this time he got Hazelnut gelato (Php 80) with raw hazelnuts (plus Php 15) drizzled with chocolate.

He offered me to get one, so I got the Choco Mint (Php 80), which was only new to their range of flavors. The first bite was sweet and superb as it melts in your mouth! Gelato lovers my try this and your sweet tooth cravings will be satisfied.

Stick House had only three branches in the metro, one in Trinoma, another in SM North Edsa and in SM Megamall... c",)
