Pinatubo Spa Town

I thought when we reached the Pinatubo Spa Town that was the start of the walking process and thinking that we didn't sign up for a spa experience. Little did we know that preparations and registrations were held here.

It's a sunny day in Tarlac although a typhoon was crossing the city of Manila and we thought that our trip will be postponed or rescheduled but luckily it wasn't.

The reception area which also serves as a dining area is the place where we did our preparations and groupings.

This is the massage area and the shower rooms could be found here. The blue curtain is for male and the red curtain is for the female. The shower rooms are different from the toilet. Each client is advised to wear their appropriate massage attire which is a shirt paired with shorts. If you want to rinse or take a shower after the Mt Pinatubo climb, there's a shower fee of PHP 100.

If you want to be buried in ashes from the Mt Pinatubo, they have a different spot within the vicinity.

It is like you are buried in the dry sand. We didn't know if the ashes are warmed or not.

Closer view of the buried people

I don't know what is the purpose of this fountain like feature of the spa. It doesn't even have water in it. It was like a zen-like garden feature. They also have a souvenir shop but I think they have to improve it specially their t-shirts because the design is not that quality satisfying. I didn't have the chance to get the rates of their services since we just stayed there for a couple of minutes before and after the Mt Pinatubo climb. c",)
