Bangkok: Amarin Plaza

The Amarin Plaza is one of the malls in Bangkok, near the Pratunam area. It was like a museum from the outside because of its stylish exterior and huge pillars. It was a five- storey building but people doesn't frequent the place maybe because of its posh-like environment, style and approach. I'm not sure if the stores here are branded but I think it is.

The whole building was a piece of art as I have told you from the outside and this was the ceiling of the building. It was intricately made and massive to support the glass top. Even the border was like artistically hand-made.

See even the mall had a sale from a known sport brand, there are still no people. The food court was already closed as early as 7pm but the mall was still open until 10pm. Spas, language schools, specialty schools, specialty shops are found here.

There is this Chinese restaurant at the 5th level of Amarin Mall, which we had a very scrumptious dinner for that night (sorry I forgot the name but it is the only Chinese restaurant at the 5th level). Of course, the Tom Yum was always present, it was the least consumed food in our table because we always had this whenever we eat. The mixed vegetable was great because it was crunchy and fresh. The best cooked fish I ever tasted was this! It was like a big black mud-fish but on how it was cooked and the blending of ingredients was heaven!

This 'patola' (Luffa) dish was also a winner, it was soft and chew. It was like melting in your mouth. There are two versions for the black mud-fish and both were great. Sorry I didn't had the picture for the chili crabs which was saporous too. We had to order 3 bowls of rice for sharing, see how delicious the food were. In the end, my colleagues gave me the honor of munching on the food since I was the only thin person in the group... c",)
