Bangkok Palace Hotel

Bangkok Palace Hotel is a 3 star hotel which has a good location because it was near a highway, a train station and malls are pretty much a 10 to 15 minute walk. It is near the Makkasan Railway Station and Ratchaprarop City Link Station. Beside it was the Ramada Hotel and Eastin Hotel.

Several massage parlours are located at the back and a 711 is nearby. Money changers are also available although you have to spot which exchange has the most value for your money.

Street dining is also available at the back but beware of the seafood stalls because they are tempting but not that fresh and clean according to a local there.

Taxis, tuk tuks and contract vehicles are also available for the hotel guests. But be warned that everyone of them has a catch so be clear of your destination and tell them directly to go to your intended destination. They would get a free gas voucher if they could bring a guest to specific location, for example the Gems Gallery or a custom-made suit shop.

The front lobby of the hotel was located at the side, contrary to the usual location. It was spacious and pictures of the King and Queen are place above its ceiling. A bar and a coffee shop is located here as well as the place where breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets are held.

It is recommended to leave your room keys at the lobby whenever you are going out of the hotel for the prevention of getting your keys lost while strolling the city. One thing I noticed is that hotel receptionist here doesn't understand English well because when I was going to left something here for a friend to pick-up at a certain time, she ask for the bellboy to help her translate on what I was saying.

Follow these hours so that you will not be charge for a late check-in or check-out. Bringing-in durian and cook foods (take-out foods) were also not allowed for hygiene purposes.

When you have to check out at 12 noon but your flight is at night, you may leave your luggages at the reception free of charge.

Complimentary drinking water is available everyday of your stay so consume them daily for a refill the next day.

Snacks are also available but not free, even condoms are offered here. I haven't taken a picture of the beds but they are comfy though. I just don't like that their beds have unstable wheels, making it shaky whenever you move. Beware of bed bugs too, other guests here had them in their rooms, luckily ours doesn't. Report them right away to the manager, they might give you a free night of stay!

Complimentary breakfast buffets are included for a night's stay but the viands stays the same everyday. Breads, butter and jams are present. The only fruits they offer were pineapple and watermelons. Eggs, sausage and ham are the crowd favorites! Milk, orange and pineapple juice for the drinks.

Here is one of the views they could give you, the pool, highway and train view.

The other view was with the city buildings.

Here's a glimpse of the city at night. c",)
