The Newport City is a newly developed property in Pasay City just across the NAIA Terminal 3. It is a 25-hectare property which will be developed by Megaworld Corporation into residential resorts and commercial venues.
The future developments includes their residential buildings named Montecito, Sarasota, Pinecrest, Parkside Villas and The Palmtree.
This one of the hotels that are built here, The Maxims Hotel. It has an all-suite rooms with a personal butler in each room. There are also 3 Royal Villas with its own pool, patio, garden and massage room.
On ground floor, you could find the Resorts World Casino,
Noodle Works Restaurant and the
Mercado Restaurant. Other boutiques are scheduled to be opened soon.
At the back part of Maxims, there is the
Marriott Hotel.
The Star Cruises Centre was also located here where they would hire people for their Star Cruise shipping line, call center and Maxims Hotel. The Genting-Star Tourism Academy can also be found here, where they train students and probably hire them to work on their hotel and ships. They offer certificate courses in culinary arts, food & beverage, housekeeping and front office. They are still in the process to add certificate course on casino dealing. c",)
