Brothers-All-Natural Fuji Apple Crisps

We are all familiar of bananas being dried and made into crispy banana chips. But there are already other fruits and even veggies that are dried too and they are packed into smaller portions so that people would buy them and make it an alternative to high calorie and cholesterol chips and sweets.

Locally, we have those but the taste of the real fruit was taken out of the dried fruit making it crispy but the flavor and the taste suffer. All you could taste is just the sugar they add to preserve the dried fruit.

I was amazed when I tried this Brothers-All-Natural Fuji Apple Crisps, sad to say it is not available locally and was just handed to me as a left over freebie from my cousin's wedding in the USA. It looks like a styro foam at the first glance but when you taste it, it was really indeed taste like an apple and it was like melting in your mouth. It was processed at what they called freeze drying, instead of drying the food alone. They preserved the real flavor of the apple by doing that technique.

Be sure to consume it right away because if you allow it to be exposed in the air, it will lessen its quality. c",)
