Teahouse: Chona's Delight

Chona's Delight (PHP 105)

When I am in Baguio or a relative of mine goes there, I always ask to buy me this cake from Teahouse. Teahouse is known in Baguio for many years not just because of their great servings but for their yummy dishes and desserts too.

Whenever there are some social gatherings, birthdays, Christmas, New Year or any other occasion and reasons for celebrating, Teahouse is present in every gathering. They have noodles which is placed in a round bamboo tray which you could choose from any varieties like spaghetti, carbonara, pancit bihon, pancit malabon, pancit canton, etc. You could also choose from which size you like to order plus it is served really big because they put cardboard guards at the circumference of the bamboo tray making more additional servings. They also have other dishes to choose from. I wish that they could have a branch here in Manila.

The cake on top is one of their bestsellers and it is called the Chona's Delight. It is simply a chocolate moist cake with whipped cream but its like you could eat it the whole day or finished the whole thing in one sitting. It is not that sweet but still it is made from chocolate. Better try it when you are in Baguio, specially for the sweet tooth ones. There are two branches of Teahouse in Baguio, one is located on Session Road and the other is at the 3rd floor of SM Baguio. c",)
