Tao Yuan Restaurant

It's my mother's birthday and wanted to celebrate it in Resorts World. There are various restaurants here that offers different kinds of cuisine but we always agree to Chinese food, Tao Yuan Restaurant. I wanted to try Red Crabs, Crisostomo or Mr Kurosawa but no luck. Oh well, we need to settle to a place right away since we were all hungry. Maybe next time.

Assorted Cold Cuts (PhP 358) never fails in our table whenever we eat at a Chinese restaurant but I love the century egg and the seaweeds.

I was supposed to ordered the Hainanese Chicken but the server suggested the Roasted Chicken (PhP 450) instead and she didn't failed. It was really juicy and the skin was so crispy to bite!

And because we were celebrating my mom's birthday, we had Birthday Noodles (PhP 288). It was really fully loaded with toppings.

I wanted to order the usual fish fillet but it was out of stock and decided to get the Fish Fillet Stuffed with Mashed Shrimps (PhP 388). It was like a shrimp dumpling with egg-dropped soup sauce.

We ordered Yang Chow Fried Rice (PhP 238) but they had different viands of rice. I only had their house tea for the drinks but my brother had the fresh apple shake (PhP 90) and it was really fresh and they also include the skin of the apple in the drink, shredded into small pieces.

We were surprised that they offer a complimentary dessert, a cup of fruit cocktail with crushed ice.

The ambiance here was great! It was like you are in a typical Chinese Restaurant in Binondo complete with the linens of both tables and chairs and big light fixtures. c",)
