Seoul Kimchi

When I was still a kid, my parents used to eat this stuff a lot specially if our dinner is fried fish. At first I was not a fan of it since it was spicy but as I grow up I used to like the flavor it brings. Since we become health conscious as we grow old, I think we should eat these kind of stuffs because its healthy and nutritious.

Kimchi is just one of the pickled vegetable dishes of Korea and was featured in numerous movie and TV shows. Koreans flocked our country for cheaper education and English classes but this also gave us the opportunity to taste not only their food but also to know their culture.

I think there are more than three brands of Kimchi available locally and this is one of them. The other is in red and blue label while the other is available in sachet. I had the chance to try those two other brands and I could say that the one I'm featuring is better because of its sweet taste.

Wondering what foods to pair with Kimchi? I'll suggest it is best eaten together with fried foods like fish, chicken or pork chops but you could also eat it as is like the Koreans do. But I still want to try authentic Kimchi from Korea. c",)
