Cyma, Greenbelt 2

On a search for a never been eaten here restaurant and something unusual, my friend and I tried to choose between Red Crabs, Marciano's, Rockefeller and Conti's in the array of restaurants in Greenbelt. The first three doesn't have any bottomless drinks so we went to Conti's but it was already almost 10pm and they were already closing. Lucky for us, we passed by Cyma and good thing they are open till 12mn so we decided to try something Mediterranean, something Greek! We have been wanting to eat here but always ended up to try something else thinking that the food here were really that expensive because its Greek but we almost tried everything in Greenbelt and Cyma is one of the few which still remains in our must try restaurants.

My friend was really hungry that night that he was so confused in ordering from Cyma's wide selection of food from their menu. He want to try the lamb because he never eaten a lamb before, so here's what we ordered:

Saganaki (Php 200), flaming cheese of mozzarella, parmesan and EVOO. Before serving this to us, the staff shouted OPA!, which is a word of cheer in Greece and lit the plate on fire. This was a great appetizer to nibble on. Yummy!

I didn't know if this bread comes with the flaming cheese or with the pasta below.

Garides Mi Feta Spaghetti (Php 450), oven-roasted shrimp and tomatoes, feta cheese, spaghetti and parsley. served with grated parmesan cheese. The feta cheese was grilled and was really really delicious! The pasta tasted closely to puttanesca, which I really love!

Here's what I ordered: Chicken Gyro (Php 160), with tomatoes, red onions, tzatziki and pita. I can't eat it as it was supposed to be because of my braces so I decided to open it up and use the utensils instead.

They used wheat for their pita and the meat, veggies and sauce are so scrumptious and compliments with each other. I would definitely order this again!

Lamb Gyro (Php 220), marinated lamb with tomatoes, red onions, tzatziki and pita. My friend didn't like the taste of the lamb but I did!

Cyma had their bottomless iced tea or lemonade for Php 95 and as an alternative to both drinks, they have Sugar-free Splenda, which is a combination of iced tea and lemonade for Php 110.

At Cyma, our cravings for hunger was solved! We are looking forward to try other stuffs from their menu soon! c",)
