Miraj Persian Grill, BF Homes

Craving for food at 3am in the morning, one of my long lost friend dragged us to BF Homes and convinced us to try Miraj Persian Grill. It was a Persian type of food, which is similar to kebabs, currys and shawarmas which are typically found in the metro.

Foods here are affordable and worth to try according to my friend since they flocked this place often. This place was also great for after beer sessions since they are open from 4pm until the wee nights of the day. He recommended for us to try the Kheema with pita.

Kheema (Php 70)

Kheema is originally made from lamb curry with potatoes and peas in it but this Kheema they offered us was made mainly from ground beef, eggplant and tomato. I wonder if this is really Kheema or Moussaka since the one I've tried in Uncle Moe's is made from eggplant too but I think its a different food too. It was like a char-broiled eggplant with spices added to it to enhance its flavor that could tickle your tastbuds.

Pita (PhP 12 each)

Pita is a great companion for Kheema. It's like the alternative for rice but sure will satisfy your appetite when combined with Kheema. Before, the pita is included when you buy a Kheema but now it was a separate entity.

Beef and Chips (PhP 85)

This is their version of Nachos which they call Beef and Chips. This are chips with spiced beef and tomato topped with their own sauce.

L: Red Iced Tea (PhP 29/50) R: Blue Lemonade (PhP 29/50)

They offered coffee, black gulaman, beer and softdrinks but we opted to try their Blue Lemonade and Red Iced Tea, which could be on single served or bottomless. Their lemonade is a with a hint of mint. c",)
