I already knew Magnum from the pictures at the Internet from different countries before it reaches the local market of Manila. Now, that everybody wants to have a taste of what's buzzing from different social medias and from its TV commercial that would make you feel like a royal. I gave in to the craze.
Magnum would be the successor of the phased out Mega ice cream of Nestle in our local market. I was expecting that the serving would be bigger since it was expensive for an ice cream on stick but it already compensated its size to its flavor. Initially, it was released at 24/7 convenient stores 711 and Ministop for 55 and 60 pesos respectively but will be available at different groceries nationwide, just in time for summer.
For the taste? It tasted like you are eating a Ferrero Rocher ice cream, its crunchy, chewy and a total satisfying feeling. There were two more flavors being offered besides from the Almond. Classic and Chocolate Truffles are also available. Among the three, I like both the Almonds and Chocolate Truffles. I wish other flavors would be available too like the Caramel and Vanilla flavors. c",)
