Domino's Pizza Buy 1 Get 1!

Yes! You've read it right Domino's Pizza is giving away another pizza if you buy one as they celebrate their customer appreciation month. This includes all pizza sizes and flavors for the whole month of October!

Zark's Burgers! I just heard this newly opened burger store in BF Homes, which has an interesting attack on its burgers. They promote their burgers as fresh, huge and great, which the common local burger joints doesn't have on their branding anymore because they were already famous but failed to be the best when it comes to their servings unlike the good old times where burgers where really been looked forward to not just for their flavor but also for their size.

Pandesal? Nope. Its called the 'Bonete'. It is San Pablo, Laguna's pride when it comes to this bread even it is smaller than pandesal its popularity for the locals was enormous because of its special taste that once you've tried it, I'll bet you'll have another piece or even the whole bag.

Sebastian's Ice Cream Studio

I had tried Sebastian's Ice Cream before at their Podium branch and tried their Choco Chip Cookie Dough and it was really good because there are chunks of cookie and the dough. I was intrigued again to try their Fro-Ya, which is short for Frozen Yakult. Since I was a child I already drink Yakult but haven't tried it frozen because I believed that it would kill the live lacto bacilli. Haha!

Subway: Sub of the Day!

Subway was introduced to me by my father when I was a child back then. I remember we used to eat at their Glorietta 2 branch before the explosion happened there. But even after the explosion, their Glorietta branch was relocated at the Glorietta 3. I've also tried their other branches like in Blue Wave, Macapagal and SM Mall of Asia.

All About Goto, Merienda, Atbp., Tagaytay City

After meeting with my high school friends, we decided to have a joy ride to Tagaytay since it was humid here in Manila even though it's already midnight. We are expecting a cold weather since Tagaytay is higher than Manila but sad to say, there were no cold summer breeze to be felt that night.

There's a new commercial of KFC for its new product called the Chewy Cheeze. The box is shaped like a slice of cheese and it comes with 8 pieces of fried cheese balls for Php 50. I tried if the Mozzarella cheese will be stretched like the commercial does, but sad to say it didn't maybe because I had the Chewy Cheeze cold. c",)

Conti's: Assorted Pastries

I never tried these pastries before but Christmas season came and one of our neighbors gave us one. On the day it was given to us it was already consumed right away.

Strawberry Newtons

Fig Newtons are more famous in the USA and in the other countries. I don't know if we grow any figs here but it is not available locally. My mother said that there are other flavors for Newtons like strawberry and raspberry.

Snyder's of Hanover: Peanut Butter Pretzel Sandwiches

I was hunting for a snack today and found this pretzel sandwich, the Snyder's of Hanover: Peanut Butter Pretzel Sandwiches. It was one of the snacks given to us as a 'pasalubong' from a relative in the US so I think its not available locally. I can't believe that its label says that this snack was manufactured since 1909.

The pretzel was hard as a biscuit but softens once your saliva comes in and compliments the sweetness of the peanut butter. I think this one is a great knick knack if you are on the go or stuck in traffic. It smells fresh too! c",)

Balconi Tiramisu

Strolling at the Duty Free Philippines - Manila, I saw this snack and it was a buy one take one deal so I gave it a try. It was soft, chewy and sweet. The filling was like a condensed milk. I think it is good with milk but there's nothing special about it. Now I know why is it a buy one take one deal... c",)

Gondolier's Chocolate Cream Wafers

This was given by my friend who went to London for a vacation. It was like our local chocolate wafer sticks but this one is not that sweet. That is why, I bet you will crave for more if you have tasted this. I was shocked that even though it was bought from London it was a product from Indonesia. It costs around GBP 1. c",)

Fig Newtons

I used to eat this Fig Newtons back when I was a kid. It was a snack that could be found in my grandparent's house. Usually it was sent to them by my relatives who lives in the USA. But after my grandfather died, I didn't saw this anymore. It was not available locally in the Philippines but it is known worldwide.

Brothers-All-Natural Fuji Apple Crisps

We are all familiar of bananas being dried and made into crispy banana chips. But there are already other fruits and even veggies that are dried too and they are packed into smaller portions so that people would buy them and make it an alternative to high calorie and cholesterol chips and sweets.

Oishi: Gourmet Picks Potato Chips (Wasabi & Nori Flavor)

Previously Oishi had a wasabi flavored potato chips but it was not that famous during that time and it was phased out in the market. After 2 months of not visiting the supermarket, I was intrigued by the new potato chips that Oishi is selling, it was called the Gourmet Picks Potato Chips. There are three flavors available, the Wasabi & Nori, Natural Sea Salt and the Kimchi Flavor. Later did I know that it was already in the market as early as the first quarter of the year. Its packaging was as big as the Lay's Potato Chips and they are not available in small packaging.

Romana Peanut Brittle

There are so many peanut brittle around our local market but I really love the taste of this brand. My mom said this was the original one before the other brands came in. I like the brittle itself rather than the peanut. These products are abundantly for sale specially in cold places like Baguio city and Tagaytay city. Sometimes you could buy these products for PHP 100 for 3 pieces. c",)

Pepperidge Farm: Goldfish Baked Snack Crackers

I have seen this crackers in one of Discovery Travel and Living shows which featured some of the Americans favorite snacks and Pepperidge Farm: Goldfish Baked Snack Crackers is one of them. They looked like our local version of Knick Knacks but they are available in several flavors unlike our version which are available in chocolate and milk.

Tortitas Black

This was introduced to me by my brother. It was like Cream O (a local version of Oreo), but the unique feature of this biscuit is that it is just made with one chocolate biscuit and the vanilla filling is visible from the top and it also has a unique taste which is not that sweet like Oreo and Cream O. You will definitely crave for more. My brother said it will be more delicious if refrigerated.

Ben & Jerry's: New York Super Fudge Chunk

After I have watched the Best Ice Creams in the United States from Discovery Travel and Living, I was on a hunt for one of the featured product of the show and that is Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream. According to the people who were interviewed for the show said that this brand was one of the best among the other ice creams in the United States. I wonder what does this ice cream tastes like because of their intriguing unique flavor names like Cherry Garcia, Chubby Hubby, Chunky Monkey and many more.
