Serenitea

(Wintermelon Milk Tea with 100% and Panna cotta , PhP 100)

Milk tea was heaven for me, it was a comfort drink that makes me relax and forgot all the problems of the world temporarily. Thanks to Chowking, which introduced me to the family of milk tea by having their Nai Cha. Milk tea in the Philippines had never been this good and it keeps getting better. I had tried Chatime, Happy Lemon, milk tea of Wai Ying and even the milk tea of Mine Shine before it got pulled out in all 711 stores but I think its back.

I first heard Serenitea from a friend who had tried it from their Greenhills branch but I just had tried it lately this year with some common friends. Closer to home, Serenitea opened their branch at the South and had a chance to try it at last.  I first tried Okinawa Milk Tea, which is a cold Assam tea with black sugar flavor and the number 1 best seller from their drinks and it was really good and heavy to drink.

(Nagoya Milk Tea with 50 % sweetness and Panna cotta; PhP 100)

There are 3 steps in ordering your milk tea in Serenitea. First, choose your tea from their long list of tea flavors. Second, choose your sweetness by percentage. Third, choose your sinkers like pearls, crystals, etc.

(Cranberry Sensation with 100% sweetness and crystal, PhP 100)

I treated my brother and mom to Serenitea last weekend and I let my brother try the Wintermelon, which he dubbed as 'tasted like coffee', but tasted great for having that strong kick after taste. I got the Nagoya, which has a more vanilla taste milk tea. It was just fine, not too sweet and not to bland. My mom got Cranberry Sensation, which is a cold  green tea with cranberry fruit extracts. It was like a fruit juice which had its caffeine booze added. The effect was she was awake the whole night. lol! c",)
