Sango! The Burger Master

A friend of mine asked me and some friends to accompany her to watch Glee: The 3D Concert Movie but only two, including me responded the invitation. We agreed to watch it at the Powerplant Mall since a Happy Lemon branch is within the area and it was my only 2nd time to be at Powerplant Mall. We were tricked that Happy Lemon is only up to 9pm, we rushed to the mall to get our dose of Happy Lemon with two drinks each ended up knowing that it was open up to 10pm. After that we bought our 10pm tickets then find a place to have our dinner before the movie starts.

A common friend already tried Sango! and suggested that we tried the Japanese-inspired meals here. One who doesn't like to eat rice for dinner and me who likes some rice, we all agreed to try Sango!

Their interiors were interesting because of its cute Japanese style. Small origami animals were everywhere. Japanese cartoons were played at their plasma TV. Japanese magazines and books were available to read but of course only those who understands Japanese would appreciate it more. Plus their washroom was also Japanese-inspired with all the wood interiors.

The one who invited us for the movie ordered, Oroshi Hotdog (PhP 155), it is a hotdog topped with grated radish, green onions, cheese and soy sauce. It tasted like the tempura sauce because of radish but a great hotdog fusion. I already tried one of these in Midnight Mercato and it was really has a unique taste.

I got Yakiniku Rice Burger (PhP 170), grilled meat on a rice bun. According to my friend, it tasted like asado siopao. I suddenly remember and missed McDonald's McRice Burger, which I really really liked!

The one who suggested the place ordered, the Curry Beef Rice Burger (PhP 180), as the name says, it tasted like curry but juicy.

As a side order, we ordered the Regular Master Fries (PhP 115), which is made of potato wedges topped with chili con carne, bite-sized cheese with onions and ketchup for the dip.

They have more than 20 kinds of burger in their menu, some hotdogs, fries, salads, and rice meals. They also offer Japanese specialty drinks like sodas, teas, milk teas and shakes. Desserts and local beer were offered too. So plenty of food viands to try next time! c",)
