An office mate of mine told me that GMA's Reporter's Notebook will be featuring an expose regarding Philippines' natural resources which are allegedly for sale despite of the declaration of those resources as protected by the existing laws.
I waited for it during the wee hours of the night but I was too sleepy to watch it. Fortunately, somebody recorded it and posted it in YouTube so here's their show for those who missed it like me.
I can't help it but to do my share in disseminating this report. People of the Philippines must not only focus on the problems in Manila alone but also see the other problems of its other islands because every Filipino people would benefit its preservation.
I think the government should do something about it, if they have the responsibility of protecting its people, they might be also have the responsibility to take care of its mother land and everything that was created within it. Most especially the people should be aware of the consequences one thing might happen in the future. Big companies might offer something else as a counter offer for their own gain but whose to blame if the government can't provide the people what they need. Too sad! c",)
Nakakapanlumo naman ito. Sayang ang mga natural resources. Anong nakukuha ba sa mining? Haiz... Let's save the Philippines!
