Hong Kong: By Night

After going to Ngong Ping 360, we went back to our hotel to have a quick power nap then off we go to the Avenue of the Stars for the Symphony of Lights at 8pm. We headed towards the Tsim Sha Tsui Station then walk towards the East Tsim Sha Tsui Station where the Avenue of the Stars is located. The place was starting to attract some crowd and look for a good place to view the show.

The city lights from the buildings was like floating on the water across the Victoria Harbour at the Hong Kong Island. It was really a feast for the eyes and was like a living postcard.

The show started by introducing the participating buildings from the Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Island. Each participating building had its own blinking effects when introduced. Although we didn't understand what was the song was all about because it was on Chinese, the lights was synchronized to its beat. After the show, we decided to walk back to Yau Ma Tei for some sightseeing along the way.

The clock tower

The famous Hong Kong antique junk boat at Aqua Luna where you could cruise along the Victoria Harbour for a unique romantic dinner or just simply view the Symphony of Lights from there.

1881 Heritage

Started the walk going back here at the Canton Road where famous luxurious branded shops are located along its street. Too bad we were in a hurry to go back to the hotel because it was really a long way going back, we weren't able to explore this 1881 Heritage, which was a  previous headquarters of the Hong Kong Marine Police, which was preserved and converted into a mall and a hotel.

Passed through the small streets going back to Nathan Road, everything was glimmering with bright lights!

Park Lane Shopper's Boulevard

Behind this Park Lane Shopper's Boulevard, was the Kowloon Park, where OFWs kill their time during days off. I wanted to see the park but it was already closed by the time we passed through.

After a long walk from the Avenue of the Stars back to Yau Ma Tei, we were really starving and just decided to have our 10pm dinner from another eatery near our hotel with some vegetable dumplings and some pork dish. c",)

Hong Kong: Ngong Ping 360

In our travel agency's itinerary, our Day 1 is a free day so I made our own before leaving Manila. We were supposed to go to Nan Li Garden but due to our delayed guide, we have to proceed to my last minute next plan, which is the Ngong Ping 360.

Flight to Hong Kong International Airport

This is my year end ultimate trip for 2012. I have been preparing this since 2011. I was only supposed to travel with my brother only but last minute also included my mom for our trip. This is another first from my travel adventures since I was with my sister and her boyfriend last May 2010 in Singapore and with my high school friend together with his college friends on my Bangkok tour last October 2010, now I'm with my brother and mother.

Racks

Hello guys! It's been a while since I blogged. Been busy with family gatherings, work, the holidays and my ultimate year end trip but I'm happy to be back and it was TEAMBee's 4th year last February 6! To celebrate, let's begin with a restaurant that had been here for years but I haven't tried dining there and their taste their most famous dish.
