Just read the news that FamilyMart from Japan will be invading Manila soon but got a glimpse on one of its stores that is already open. It has the same concept of a 24/7 mini shop, just like the famous 711 and Ministop but this one is brought up by the Ayala's and more clean and tidy looking store or maybe its just new with its sliding entrance doors and polo barong uniformed security guard.
Almost everything in here is self-service from its food offerings, beverages and drinks were all set-up at the counters.
Haven't seen lately that imported canned and bottled drinks were already sold in stores like this and even bottled drinks from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf because I've only seen Starbucks bottled coffees.
They also have their very own neatly packed nibbles but I find it expensive though it's imported.
Sandwiches, sliced fruits, burgers, rice meals and even different kinds of pancit were displayed at their chillers waiting to be heated at the microwave for those people who is usually on the go.
What sets them apart is that they have more space for dining within their store. c",)
