Zark's Burger

Zark's Burgers! I just heard this newly opened burger store in BF Homes, which has an interesting attack on its burgers. They promote their burgers as fresh, huge and great, which the common local burger joints doesn't have on their branding anymore because they were already famous but failed to be the best when it comes to their servings unlike the good old times where burgers where really been looked forward to not just for their flavor but also for their size.

We can't blame those burger joints because its business and their ultimate goal was their products to be affordable to the public. That's why different burger shops put up their own recipes that could compete with the common ones. This is where Zark's Burgers move in.

Zark's Burger has two branches one in Taft Avenue, just across De La Salle University and the other one is just located along the President's Avenue in front of Shawarma Snack Center, BF Homes Paranaque City. We went on the Paranaque branch which was near to our place. The place was jam-packed when we arrived but was 2nd on the queue.

The place was simply plain white, with air conditioning but inside those glass walls was really suffocating. The smoke coming from the kitchen dominates the entire room without any exhaust fans.

Since their specialty was more on burgers, they have a wide variety of burger combinations to choose from so it will be difficult for you to decide unless you want to have their best sellers for an instant decision.

We are all excited to try those huge burgers and give our verdict. This is not your usual fast food because if there are many orders for dine in or take out, it would take 10 minutes or more for your order to be served. Here's what we tried:

Jawbreaker (Php 250), triple cheeseburger with Spam, bacon and cheese sauce. If you are up for a challenge they offer this Jawbreaker for free if you consume all of it together with the fries within 5 minutes but be warned that the serving for the challenge is more than the regular serving.

Shaq! (Php 130), cheeseburger topped with bacon and fried onion strings.

Black Mamba (Php 125), it is a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, mushroom, caramelized onion, topped with barbeque rum sauce.

All patties is served in 1/4 pound. You may add Php 40 to make it into 1/2 patty and add Php 20 for potato chips or fries and iced tea or lemonade.

Their burgers were really big but there's nothing special with their burger patties and could easily be crushed but definitely could satisfy your stomach because of their servings. It was like a homemade burger! c",)
