Cake Planet and Cafe

There's a buzz about this coffee house from some of my friends who've been here and tried their mouthwatering cakes. Me and my friends had already tried this coffee house before, it was called Big Kat's Coffee House back then, closed for a certain period and re-opened as The Cake Planet and Cafe now.

Being curious on how their cakes tastes like from word of mouth of friends and the owner itself, who visited our office recently, my office-mate and I drove ourselves here after the office hours. The place was a hole in the wall in one of the businesses in Better Living Subdivision in ParaƱaque near SM Bicutan.

Here are the different cakes they offer, even though plainly decorated wait until you had it in your mouth. There were other pastries and pasta at their menu too but we went here for their cakes.

Officemate got this, Chocolate Macadamia Sansrival (Php 150/slice), which is made up of meringue plus the ingredients on its name. This is one of their best-seller, not too sweet nor too bland.

I got this Samba Dome (Php 150/slice), which I never had a dome shaped cake before that's why I ordered this. It was like a mousse cake with a taste of dark chocolate. The first bite was heaven and the second was like craving for more!

We were supposed to try more of their cakes but we decided to try the other cakes some other time since their per slice doesn't come cheap but they were really great though! Check them out! c",)
