Bigg's Diner

I already heard this food chain rising within the Bicol region and also wanted to try and been curious to what it has to offer since as its slogan says that it has been "Serving Good Food Since 1983". Although it's not like the ever popular fast food giant like Jollibee, it also had something to be curious of try their food.

Since it was my second time in Bicol, I won't be missing Bigg's Diner in my list to try that I wasn't able to do in Bicol. Although, there's a Bigg's Diner near the place where me and my officemates stayed, we just tried Bigg's Diner here  at the Embarcadero in Legaspi.

As the restaurant's name comes with the word "Diner", you'll ready know what their concept is but I think they are not really a fast food but only a food chain because of the long wait before they serve your order. I'm not sure if its only applicable to this place because there are only few people who are within the vicinity when we visited. See the food display shelf for the desserts, its empty.

Even the ground and second floor were almost empty too. There were only a handful of us eating here.

Come to think of it that the place was not that crowded but these 'top sider' dishes were also not available. Are they sold out or really out of stock? The only available side dish was the vegetable medley so we already lost interest in ordering some side dishes.

Only one of us ordered, correct me if I'm wrong their Bicol Special, which is a pork rice meal with 'laing' on the side.

From their mouthwatering menu, I and three of us decided to get this Salisbury Steak, which had a cheese, mushroom and gravy topping added with some mixed veggies on side.

For the taste, we barely noticed if its good or not because we were really hungry and waited for so long for our meal to arrived but I guess every food would be great when a person is really starving.

The three of us also ordered a cheeseburger sandwich each and tasted like the classic burgers from the past which is really juicy and delicious plus the burger patty was thick too like the old times.

Maybe, I should try Bigg's Diner at a mall or in a different place in Bicol where people are abundant so that quality of food and service will not be compromised. c",)
