There's a new fad or maybe should I say a different twist on everyone's favorite potato. It was still fried but the way it was cut and presented was in a swirl way. It was still like potato chips with added powdered flavor so there's no something special on it. The way it was presented and served was inviting though.
When my friend and I attended Fusion: Benefit Food Expo, this is one of the food stalls they have besides seeing Manang's Fried Chicken. This was the first potato twister we saw and tried. The powder was just poured over the potato.
At the other side of the Expo, Twistix was there. We already seen this during the 16th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta but didn't have the chance to try it there because the queue was terrible so my friend also tried Twistix for comparison. Twistix offers more flavors to choose from, unfortunately they are out of stock for the ketchup flavor when we went there so we end up getting cheese.
The powder was not just poured over the potato but it was also poured sideways making the potato fully covered. I think it was more great if they had that ketchup flavor. Now, I'm craving for PikNik's Ketchup! c",)
