ToHo Restaurant Antigua

It was my parent's wedding anniversary and we decided to have dinner outside. My father suggested this place in BF. It was called the ToHo Restaurant Antigua. It was so amazing that this restaurant was since 1888. The original ToHo was in Binondo, Manila but it was renamed the New Toho Food Center. This is considered as one of the oldest restaurants in the Philippines and was made famous because of their noodles and many other unique dishes.

The place was a two storey building located just near the McDonald's, BF Homes. We thought that there were no people eating here since it was a weekday. But after our orders were taken, people just keep on coming until we didn't notice that the place was already full even up to the second floor.

We ordered (from left to right; clockwise) ToHo Chicken, Halo (appetizer), Seafood Canton, Fish Fillet with Garlic Sauce, Broccoli Flower in Garlic Sauce, ToHo Rice and Corn & Crab Soup.

The ToHo Chicken was good but the soup was even better. Broccoli flowers was chopped in large chunks making it hard to eat and the garlic sauce was mild. The rice servings was good for 4 persons already. The fish fillet was very soft and the flavor of the garlic is dominating. The food prices ranges from Php 140 to Php 400 but almost all the food prices was less than Php 200. Beverages ranges from Php 60 and below but house tea is available for free. c",)
