Gelatissimo Cafe, Greenbelt 5

While strolling at Greenbelt 5, my friend Karlo and I passed by this ice cream shop located near the elevated walkway across the Ayala Museum. People are flocking to the area where the gelatos are displayed.

Out of curiosity, we also went inside and see it for ourselves. We were flabbergasted and tempted on what we saw. The displayed gelatos are topped with some of its raw ingredients like if the flavour is coffee, there are coffee beans at the top of the gelato, so on and so forth.

There are 42 gelato flavours available to choose from. There are the common flavours like vanilla and chocolate but some have names which is unusual. All of their premium flavours are made using the only finest local and imported ingredients, all of them is 90% to 97% fat free while their sorbets are 100% fat free.

If you are undecided on which flavours you want, you could try it for free before buying.

For 1 scoop, it costs Php 110, 2 scoops for Php 160 and 3 scoops for Php 190. They also have other products like sundaes, milkshakes, chocolates, biscotti, gelato cakes and coffee.

Their dining area is small, but was cosy enough for a little chit chat. They also sell coffee beans and tumblers.

I got the Choco Mint and the the Choco Chip.

My friend Karlo, ordered the Chili Choco and White Chocolate.

It was the finest gelato I've ever tasted because it was like you’re eating the real thing. I really like the Chili Choco because it blends well giving you a remarkable taste. Even though we had 2 scoops each, we are still craving for more and we are longing to try the other flavours soon.

Gelatissimo is an award-winning and the most popular gelato from Australia. They have also stores in Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia. Their first store in the Philippines was opened in Ayala Center Cebu and followed by another branch in SM City Cebu. c",)
