Fig Newtons are more famous in the USA and in the other countries. I don't know if we grow any figs here but it is not available locally. My mother said that there are other flavors for Newtons like strawberry and raspberry.
When I was strolling at the grocery store, I was surprised to find out that there are are Strawberry Newtons available. Each pack is worth more or less PhP 200 to PhP 300.
These are more flavorful than Fig Newtons, its a little bit sour in taste but definitely a good snack to munch on. After opening, don't place them in the refrigerator unless you want them cold and eat them hard. c",)
