I thought Astoria Plaza was just an ordinary hotel but I was shocked that it was a residential suite like the Oakwood, the one that was made famous because of the mutiny.
It is situated near the Shangri-la Mall but you have to walk at least a few meters from the mall. There are also other buildings there but there are no other stores or restaurants nearby except for Ministop and Red Ribbon.
I'm lucky to have stayed there for 4 days and 3 nights. Their room rates ranges from PHP 4,000++ to PHP 6,000++ per night.
Their two bedroom suite was really huge and spacious. It was ideal for a family of 5 or more. It was really neat and organized which includes a living room, dining and kitchen area.
It was also equiped with electric stove, microwave oven, refrigerator, coffee maker and some cookware.
The bedrooms have cable TVs and some phone lines too. Their wardrobes was also huge. Too bad they have an internet but it was not for free, you have to pay PHP 400 per day to use it.
They have two swimming pools, one for the kids and one for the adults. Beside the pool was their fitness center.
They have this promo that if you stayed with them for a minimum of 10 days there will be a complimentary airport pick-up or drop off, buffet breakfast, facial treatment, pick-up/ drop-off to Greenhills Shopping Center, SM Megamall, Robinsons Mall, Shangri-La Plaza or Podium, bottled water replenished daily and use of pool and gym.c",)
