An officemate of mine saw this coffee house from her friend's photos in Facebook and was amazed by the shop's interiors and was curious to try their Purple Potato Latte, which we both never heard before and doesn't exist with any other coffee houses for now.
We reached the area around 11:15pm but the store was still filled with customers but they were all about to leave the shop. We assumed that they were already closed when all of the customers went out but good thing I asked the barista if they were still accepting orders. Without further ado, the barista extended their hours to 11:30pm just for us but the orders were good for take-out only.
The place was really interesting from just peeking from the outside but when you go inside, it was really feast for the eyes. There were different kinds of seating furniture and bit and pieces of colorful and vintage things.
The ceiling was fascinating, it was a bundle of chairs secured together to form this kind of fabulous art.
Maximizing the use of space, they had a projector flashed through their wall which shows music videos of K-pop idols. I also have read that they also have film showing here regularly.
The striking features of their shop was the use of patterns, lights and colors to brighten up their hole in the wall space. I really like the huge light bulb!
High chairs were also available complete with glow in the dark wall stickers.
I like their mixture of vintage stuffs with the playful toys, making them not scary looking like when they are displayed with old houses.
The other side of the wall was not painted and the electrical tubes and vents were visible making it look like kinda industrial.
The chairs only come in pairs and nothing is the same with each other except their tables to maximize the space.
The work area was located at the middle of the store making it more accessible from the both ends of the place. The other door would lead you to the residential space of the Grand Emerald Tower.
These were the drinks they offer. I tried the Dark Chocolate Mint since my friend ordered their unique Purple Potato Latte and her boyfriend tried the Chocolate. Next time, I would like to try their Peanut Butter Latte, Subspace Float or the Nebula Coffee Jelly.
They also had a variety of pasta, pies, pastries and bottled drinks. They also have some stuffs like memo pads, bookmarks, etc.
Some of the toys were Wall-E and Eve!
Too bad we only had 15 minutes to stay, enjoy the ambiance and drinks. I would like to try their food too but no time left. I really liked their Purple Potato Latte, it tasted like it was roasted and made into a drink. It was a short trip but it was really worth a feast to the eyes. c",)
*Be sure to go here at night to see its awesome glow...
