Rai Rai Ken

Had a movie date with one of my close friend to watch Won't Last A Day Without You, but before watching, we agreed to have dinner first and tried Rai Rai Ken. Yes, its our first time to eat at Rai Rai Ken even though it was already operational since 1993 because we thought that this restaurant is expensive but to our surprise, they had something in store for us that we didn't expect. (We just didn't read their tarpaulin at their store window)

They had this promo that in a group of 3 orders of ramen, the prices of our ramen would be 50% off each, good deal eh? So we agreed to have the ramen instead of having some rice meal.

Since it is our first time to eat here, my friend went for their best seller's ramen, which is the Seafoods Hotpot (PhP 220). It is a ramen with mixed seafoods, fish cakes, crab sticks, mussels and tofu in a sticky soup. It really complemented well with the other ingredients to get those really yummy and heavenly taste!

We bumped onto another friend of ours and convinced him to joined us for dinner, although he had already a plan on having it at his cousin's house. He ordered Kantonmen (PhP 225), which is a ramen with mixed vegetables, mixed seafoods and pork in (shoyu) soy sauce based soup. Indeed, it was really one of their best sellers too.

For me, I didn't got any of their best sellers but I tried something with my favorite ingredient, garlic! I ordered Beef Yakiniku (PhP 225), which is a ramen topped with beef yakiniku with garlic in (shoyu) soy sauce based soup.

Craving for more my friend ordered some Gyoza (PhP 110; 6pcs) and some California Maki (PhP 165; 10pcs). We only had water for our drinks.

Too bad, we had to finish our food because the movie will be starting in less than 45 minutes before we arrived at the restaurant. We will be surely coming back to Rai Rai Ken! c",)
