Mesa, Greenbelt 5

Since Greenbelt 5 was opened to the public, we haven't had the chance to try some new restaurants there, so we hunt again for something new and unique until we passed by Mesa and learned that it was owned by the Pangilinans, knowing that the La Mesa Grill in Trinoma and SM Mall of Asia are theirs too.

Pussycat Dolls: Doll Domination in Manila!


The Pussycat Dolls will again invade Manila for their second concert tour. The first time they are in Manila was last July 28, 2006 for their first concert tour.

Bantayan Island, Cebu


Bantayan Island is located at the northern tip of Cebu Island and could be reached by riding a ferry or a RORO from the Hagnayan Wharf. It has three towns namely Sta Fe, Bantayan and Madridejos. Sta Fe is where the pier of Bantayan Island is located.

Virgin Island, Cebu

The Virgin Island is privately owned by the Villa Carlos family, which is a 20 to 30 minute boat ride from Bantayan Island.

Ogtong Cave Resort, Bantayan Island, Cebu

Ogtong Cave Resort is located at the end shore of Sta Fe and owned by a Chinese family.

Marlin Beach Resort, Bantayan Island, Cebu

Marlin Beach Resort is just one of the white sand beach resorts that could be found in the island of Bantayan, specifically at the town of Sta Fe. It is just a few kilometers from the Bantayan Island Pier. Land transfers are courtesy of the resort from and to the pier and/or from Cebu to Hagnayan.

Bulaklak Beach Resort, Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro


It is located at the town of Pili Pili, Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro. I think it is the only sandy place located in Pinamalayan since the other coastlines was already composed of rocks. It was like a hidden beach place because the main road leading to it was above the beach proper, making you to go down the slope to see the beach.

Tagaytay is one of the nearest out-of -town places closest to the busy and noisy streets of Metro Manila. There are new restaurants that occupy the cliffs of Tagaytay like the Bag of Beans, Taj of Tagaytay, T House, Mano's Greek Taverna, Cliffhouse, Hawaiian Barbeque and Sonya's Garden to name a few.

Tagaytay Zipline

What's new within Tagaytay? It is the Tagaytay Zipline which could be found at the Picnic Grove area. They have placed cable lines connecting the view deck and the picnic area.

Boracay: Guilly's Island


This is one of the night clubs in Boracay, this place was used to be where the Cocomangas was located but you could still find it at the back of this club.

Club Paraw: Shotgun


Ever wondered why is this drink called Shotgun?

I didn't realize it at first but once you have tried this kind of beverage, you definitely felt like you've been shot right away because of its effect. It is made of Jagermeister and Red Bull.

Boracay: Jonas Milkshakes


Have you ever tasted the coolest and delicious milkshake this summer?

And I'm talking about the Jonas Milkshakes, which could only be found in the Boracay Island of Aklan Province. At first I was curious of what does it tastes like because people who have been in Boracay seems to be hypnotize by this milkshake. So I had to try it too when it is my first time to visit the place and I just didn't tried the milkshake but also their other recipes from their menu.

La Carmela de Boracay

This is the place where some celebrities spend their night in Boracay and if you had watched any of the shows of Boy Abunda, you have probably noticed and heard that he always thanking Boy Saw of La Carmela de Boracay, which is the owner of the place.

Oriental Mindoro: John-nette's Banana Chips


When visiting Oriental Mindoro, don't forget to buy some "pasalubongs." One of Oriental Mindoro's local made products is the banana chips.
